Ruster WillNichols

Moxie Harper: A morph only a hypercorp exec could love. The flaws of the ruster are numerous and well documented, but it does do what it’s advertised to do. Could it do it better? Sure, but there’s less profit margin in better. It’s not as though there’s a booming market of Mars-acclimated competitor morphs, and while there’s certainly no shortage of synths, most settlers have trouble giving up the flesh. Plasmid: The obsolescence that’s been built into many of these isn’t anything a good genehacker can’t work around. Lots of Barsoomians out in the sticks have been running around in rusters for four or five years with only standard medical check-ins. Of course, modifying the morph in this way voids the agreement you have with any reputable sleeving outfit, so make sure you’re also on good terms with someone who can do an occasional sleeve checkup.
